Traditionaly sprung seat

I thought this picture might be interesting for you to look at! Just one example of the kind of work that goes into a traditional seat. It has been webbed, then double cone springs have been hand stitched in place, then the springs have been lashed together with laid cord, this allows the springs to move together as a unit and gives the seat more stregnth.
